Ricardo C. Rodriquez of Lake Wales died March 28, 2007 at Winter Haven Hospital. Born October 8, 1953 in Port La Vaca, Texas; he came to the area from Texas 40 years ago. He was affiliated with Holy Spirit Catholic Church, had a radio show with Lake Wales WIPC 1280 AM, MC for weddings and birthdays, did freelance writing for the Vision Latino of the Ledger.

Survivors include his wife Maria L. Rodriguez of Lake Wales, FL.; daughters San Janita Rodriguez and Marisol Rodriguez of Lake Wales, FL.; sons Armando and wife Nancy Rodriguez of Ft. Meade, FL., Abel Rodriguez of Holland, MI.; brother Senobio Rodiguez of Lake Wales, FL.; sisters Odilia Underwood of Marseilles, IL, Diane Rodriguez of Ottawa, IL., Mary Celis of Victoria, TX. Three Grandchildren; Alfredo, Esteban, Amanda Rodriguez.

Family will receive friends at Marion Nelson Funeral Home, Friday, March 30, 2007 from 7:00pm – 9:00pm. Visitation will be held Saturday, March 31, 2007 also at the funeral home from 9:00am – 10:00am. Services will be held Saturday, March 31, 2007 at 11:00am at Our Mission of Guadalupa, Wahneta, Florida with Father Norman Farland officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Bartow.
