Rhonda Faye Leitch

Rhonda Faye Leitch of Waverly passed away Saturday, March 5, 2011 at the Heart of Florida Regional Medical Center.

She was born March 13, 1969 in Lake Wales to Homer Rolonzo & Judith Alta (Youmans) Norton; she was a lifelong resident of the area. She was a graduate of Lake Wales High School Class of 1988 and the secretary/office manager of Norton & Sons Garage in Waverly. She was a very active member of the First Baptist Church of Waverly, taught a Sunday school class, was the VBS Director, created the "Ladies in Motion" ministry and was involved in the children's church. She loved crafting, gardening, landscaping and planting flowers.

Survivors include her husband of 13 years, Mike Leitch; daughter, Shelby Anthony of Waverly; son, Zachary Anthony of Waverly; and a sister, Tracy Norton Haywood of North Carolina.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 PM, Tuesday, March 8, 2011 and the funeral service will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at the First Baptist Church of Waverly with Rev. David Durham officiating. Interment will be held at Oakie Ridge Cemetery in Chipley, FL.
