LAKE WALES--Rev. Robert Hare, 77, of Lake Wales passed away Friday, November 16, 2007 at his home.

Born April 12, 1930 in Lake Wales; he has been a lifelong resident of the area. He has been a minister for over 50 years ministering many surrounding churches, before settling at the Revival Tabernacle 37 years ago.

Rev. Hare was preceded by his daughter, Linda Gail Fuller in 1988; parents, Herbert H. & Lillie Mae Hare; and brother, Leroy Hare. Survivors include his wife, Delores Hare of Lake Wales; daughter, Barbara & David Starling of Lake Wales; sons, Kenneth & Denise Hare of Winter Haven; Larry Hare of Lake Wales; brother, Hallman Hare of Okeechobee; sister, Janey Wenzel of Plant City; 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Monday, November 19, 2007 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home, Lake Wales. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at Revival Tabernacle with Rev. Emory Wine and Rev. Ernest Hodge. Interment will follow at the Lake Wales Cemetery.
