Rev. Carlton Anderson

Rev. Carlton Anderson, 69 of Lakeland, Florida passed away Saturday, November 15, 2014 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center.

He was born August 4, 1945 in Lucedale, Mississippi to the late William Clinton Anderson and Eula Verlou (Harrison) Anderson McGarity. He was a retired Church of God Minister. He has pastored in Hawthorne, Port Charlotte, Bonifay, Dundee and Frostproof, Florida. He was currently a member of the Trinity Life Church of God in Lakeland. He enjoyed fishing, singing, spirited conversations and taking care of his dog Princess.

He was preceded in death by his grandson, Justin

Survivors include mother of his children, Carol Anderson; daughters, Amanda Anderson Surat of Lake Wales, Jeanette Stephens of St. Petersburg; sons, Carlton Duane Anderson of Lake Wales, Anthony Paul Anderson and wife Danielle of Winter Haven; sisters, Elaine Driver and husband Gary of Middleburg, Florida, Dorrece Mathis of Ft. Myers; brothers, Clinton Anderson and wife Lou of Ft. Myers, Rev. Wayne W. Anderson and wife Kay of Daphne, Alabama, William B. “Andy” Anderson and wife Myrna of Rockledge, Florida; 7 grandchildren, Shelby, Kala, Cheyanne, McKenzie, Laney, Madison and Noah; 1 great grandchild, Liam
Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at Frostproof Church of God with Rev. Wayne Anderson and Pastor Gerald Justus officiating. Interment will be held 4:00 PM at Ft. Denaud Cemetery in LaBelle, Florida.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday at the church from 10:00 am until service time.
