Reginald O. "Reggie" Werner

Mr. Reginald O. "Reggie" Werner of Lake Wales died Wednesday, April 05, 2006 at the Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale. He was 68.

Born in St. Louis on November 12, 1937, he came to Lake Wales from Belleville, IL in 2000. Reggie and Arleen ran the Blue Dolphin Pet Shop in Belleville, IL. He married Arleen on June 15, 1957; together they raised 3 sons. Mr. Werner was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, loved fishing and was of the Lutheran faith.

Mr. Werner is survived by his wife of 48 years, Arleen M. Werner of Lake Wales, FL; sons, Larry Werner of Belleville, IL, Walter Werner of Rockaway Beach, MO, Douglas Werner of Barnhart, MO; brothers, Howard Werner of Lakeland, FL, Larry Werner of San Diego, CA; twin sister, Regina Blanchard of Lakeland, FL; and 3 grandchildren, Wesley, Kellcie and Amanda. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Lorretta Werner, sister, Jacqueline Crawford and his brother, Truman Werner.

Per Reggie's wishes, there will be no services.
