Rebecca "Becky" Lamb

Rebecca “Becky” Lamb passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at her residence in Frostproof.

She was born January 13, 1921 in Newton, AL to the late James Benjamin & Maggie Eudora (Snell) Smith; she came here 45 years ago from Alabama. She was a homemaker, a cashier for Scenic Suprex Grocery and a bookkeeper for the family business. She was a member of the First Untied Methodist Church and the Frostproof Women’s Club. She was the president of the United Methodist Women’s Club, a Sunday school teacher and the greatest mother in the world.

Survivors include her daughters, Kathy Bennett (husband-John) of Ashville, NC and Jane Morgan (husband-Vernon) of Frostproof; son, Eugene Lamb Jr of Frostproof; sister, Martha Parramore of Dothan, AL; 6 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held 10:00 AM, Friday, February 13, 2009 at the Silver Hill Cemetery in Frostproof with Rev. Brian Smith officiating.
