Reba Fuqua of Lake Wales passed away Saturday, June 21, 2014 at her residence.
She was born April 11, 1921 in Quitman, GA to the late Arthur Ran & Rebecca Johnson; and she came here from Quitman, GA in 1950. She was retired from Florida’s Natural and attended Impact Church. She enjoyed fishing, dancing and crossword puzzles.
Reba was preceded in death by her first husband, Frederick W. Taylor; second husband, Ralph Hardeman; third husband, T.J. Fuqua; two daughters, Rebecca Alice Thornton and Mary Watson; a son, Ray Taylor; two sisters, Ida Mary Owens and Becky Bea Carris; four brothers, Bud Johnson, Murray Johnson, Albert Johnson and Labon Johnson. Survivors include her daughter, Marcella Coker of Lake Wales; son, Murray Dusty Taylor (Roxana) of Emington, IL; 13 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and 20 great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be held 10:00 am, Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at the Silver Hill Cemetery in Frostproof with Rev. Walter Nelson officiating.
