Raymond Pencarinha

Raymond Pencarinha passed away on October 18, 2026, at AdventHealth Lake Wales. He was born on November 7, 1945, in Pageton, West Virginia.

Raymond was an extraordinarily hard worker. He took on many challenging jobs over the years before honing his skills as a repair specialist, first for communications equipment and later for medical testing and analysis equipment. He retired as a field service specialist with Tosoh Bioscience.

Above all, Raymond loved his wife, Charlotte. Their 62 years of marriage were built on devotion, faithfulness, and a deep partnership, and their commitment to one another stands as an example to all who knew them. From that foundation came a family he cherished. He stayed close to all four of his sons, his daughters-in-law, his grandchildren, and his great-grandchildren. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor, his love of the outdoors, and the time he spent with family and friends, and he left a lasting, positive impression on everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Charlotte Pencarinha; his sons, Jim Pencarinha (Jennifer) of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina; Todd Pencarinha (Christina) of Cypress, Texas; Chris Pencarinha (Terry) of Seminole, Florida; and Chad Pencarinha and his fiancée, Cindy Wooten, of Columbus, Ohio; his sisters, Shirley Maddox of Mackay, Idaho; Brenda Sutton of Lake Placid, Florida; and Yolanda Munzert (Fred) of Avon Park, Florida; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Zula Pencarinha.
