Raymond D. Couture of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Winter Haven Hospital.
He was born October 27, 1942 in Webster, Massachusetts to the late Donat and Mary Couture. He has been a resident of the area for 13 years coming from Georgia. He was a sergeant in the United States Marines and a recruiter/ career counselor for the United States Navy. He retired from the Military after a total of 28 years of service between the Marine Corp, where he served two tours in Viet Nam, and the Navy serving for 20 years. He was awarded the Bronze Star of Valor and a purple heart. After his military career, he worked at a prison in South Carolina.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years Anne Couture.
