Truck Driver

Randy Maggard, 60, of Lake Wales passed away Thursday, March 20, 2008 at the Lake Wales Medical Center.

Born September 17, 1947 in Fairfax, VA; he came here from Wise County, VA 18 years ago. He was an independent truck driver and owned and operated Randy’s Lawn Care. He was a member of the N.R.A.; enjoyed hunting and fishing; and was an outdoorsman.

Randy was preceded in death by his son, Harold Maggard. Survivors include his wife, Janet Maggard of Lake Wales; daughters, Tracey Reddick, Eve Hanshaw and Miranda Maggard all of Lake Wales; sons, Randy Williams of Fort Bragg, NC and Chris Puckett of Haines City; brothers, Wendall Maggard of Haines City and Henry Maggard Jr. of Wise County, VA; 20 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Memorial services will be held 1:00 PM, Saturday, April 12, 2008 at the River Ranch Hunting Area.
