LAKE WALES -- Mr. Randy John Lund of Lake Wales died of heart failure Friday (June 30, 2006) at Lake Wales Medical Center. He was 50.

Born July 27, 1955, in Maquoketa, Iowa, he was raised in the Winter Haven area and moved to Lake Wales in 1983. He was a refrigerator and AC mechanic for Newberry's Refrigerator in Lakeland. He was a Lutheran.

He is survived by his wife, Edith M. "Penny" Lund; daughters, Rachel Lund, Tracy Lund and Kayla Lund, all of Lake Wales; sister, Laurie Cheshire, Lake Wales; two grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 1 to 2 p.m. at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. Services will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home chapel.
