Ralph Dean Smith

Ralph Dean Smith of Lake Wales passed away Thursday, January 09, 2014 at the Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale.

He was born November 12, 1943 in Prestonsburg, KY to the late Clyde W. & Naomi Marie Smith; and he came here from Warsaw, IN in 1999. He was a retired boiler operator for R. R. Donnelly & Sons and was a veteran of Vietnam, serving in the U.S. Army. He was a member of American Legion and loved fishing, hunting and gardening.

Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Sandra D. Smith; and a daughter, Melody Smith of Lake Wales.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the funeral service at 11:00 am Friday, January 17, 2014 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. Interment will be held at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
