Ralph Mavuro

Ralph Mavuro of Winter Haven passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at his residence.

He was born April 17, 1943 in Montclair, NJ to the late Ralph and Helen (Prastek) Mavuro; and came to Winter Haven from Brick, NJ in 2004. He was an Insurance Fraud Investigator for the State of New Jersey for 18 years, and was a veteran of Vietnam, serving in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed traveling, and was an avid sports fan.

Survivors include his wife, Diane C. Mavuro; daughter, Gina Marie Mavuro-Fernandez and husband, Daniel of Brooklyn, NY; sons, Michael Mavuro of Plainsboro, NJ, Justin Mavuro of Las Vegas, NV; sisters, Linda Travato and Patricia DelPrete, both of New Jersey; and one grandchild, Ava Fernandez.

Funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Monday, June 21, 2010 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home, Lake Wales, with visitation beginning at 11:00 AM.
