Rafaela was born on October 12, 1959, in Queens, NY to the late Salvatore and Italia Spagnuolo. She was the retail supervisor for CVS in New York. Her favorite color was purple, and she loved dolphins and bowling.

Rafaela is survived by her husband of 40 years, Charles Palmieri; her sons Anthony Palmieri of Bedford Hills, NY, and Charles Palmieri III and wife Angie of Hopewell Junction, NY; her sister Sally Spagnuolo of Ardsley, NY; and brother Peter Spagnuolo and wife Sandra of North Salem; and was a loving grandmother of 3.

Family will receive friends Friday January 28, 2022, from 6:00pm until 8:00 pm at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home with Funeral services 10:00 am on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home.
