Rafael Arrieta Moreno of Lake Wales passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at AdventHealth Heart of Florida in Davenport.

He was born January 7, 1947 in San Juan, Puerto Rico to the late Rafael Arrieta and Milagros Moreno; he came here from Puerto Rico in 2001. He retired from Energy Co as a customer service representative and a member of the Lake Wales Hispanic Church of the Nazarene.

Rafael was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Santa Rodriguez-Saltar; sons, Rafael Arrieta Rodriguez of Lake Wales, Carlos Arrieta Rodriguez of Puerto Rico and Jesus Arrieta Rodriguez of Ocala; sister, Idalia Arrieta of Puerto Rico; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until the funeral service at 3:00 p.m. Friday, March 5, 2021 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales with Pastor Delvia Roblero officiating.
