Rafael Guzman, 88

Rafael Guzman of Lakeland passed away Sunday, October 30, 2022 at his residence.

He was born July 26, 1934 in the Dominican Republic to the late Ramon and Emilia Guzman; he moved to Lakeland from Miami in 1993. Rafael was a retired electrician and was one of Jehovah’s Witness since 1968. He loved playing pool, going fishing, and being outdoors. He enjoyed visiting people and ministering. Family was important to him and he always wanted to keep his family together.

Rafael is survived by his wife of 52 years, Ana Guzman; children, Jhonny R. Guzman and wife Nancy, Dillian Guzman, Joel Guzman, and Bethsaida Guzman; siblings, Arnaldo Guzman, Amado Guzman, and Consuelo Guzman; and grandchildren, Glory-Ann Rodriguez and husband Miguel, Mary-Ann Guzman, Jonathan Guzman, Alexander Franco, and Julian Franco.

A private memorial service will be held.
