Rachel Ruth Payne

Rachel K. Payne, 82 of Frostproof, passed away Saturday, January 23, 2016 at Lake Placid Health Care. She was born on March 8, 1933 in Haines City, Florida to the late Harvey J. and Ruth (Reeves) Kelley and she has been a resident of this area since the age of 10. She was the Owner Operator of Kelly and Payne Inc. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Frostproof. She was the Office Manager for Latt Maxcy Corp. for 33 years. Valedictorian for the Class of 1950 and loved her family time. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Payne in 2002 She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Payne of Lake Placid; sons, Kelly Payne and his wife Heather of Sebring, Chris Payne of Sebring; 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home with Pastor Dustin Woods officiating. Interment will be held at the Silver Hill Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 from 10:00 am until service time.
