Quincy C. Brackin, 79

Quincy C. Brackin of Frostproof, Florida passed away Sunday, July 8, 2018 at his residence.

He was born September 16, 1938 in Babson Park, Florida to the late Spoman L. and Bernice (Herndon) Brackin. He was a Heavy Equipment Operator. Quincy was an avid hunter and fisherman, loved anything outdoors and raced airboats.

He is preceded in death by his wife Mavis M. Brackin, brother Wilbur Scurry.

He is survived by his daughter Sylvia Branch of Frostproof, FL, son Darrell D. Brackin and wife Vicky of Okeechobee, Florida, sisters Doris Gibb of Lake Wales, FL, Fay Hoy and husband Jim of Halifax, PA, 5 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, July 28, 2018 with Rev. Darrol Hood officiating at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Frostproof.
