LAKE WALES -- Mrs. Princess W. Britt of Lake Wales died of lung failure Saturday (Feb. 18, 2006) at The Groves Center. She was 89.
Born in Turner County, Ga., on Feb. 3, 1917, she came to Lake Wales from Georgia in 1954. She was a homemaker. She was a Baptist.
Mrs. Britt was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Britt. She is survived by her children, Carl W. Britt, Jerry R. Britt, both of Lake Wales, Janet Elaine Roberts, Sylvester, Ga.; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 this morning at Marion Nelson Funeral Home of Lake Wales. Burial will follow in Lake Wales Cemetery.
