LAKE WALES--Polly O. Benefiel, 95, of Lake Wales passed away Thursday, November 01, 2007 at The Palms of Sebring in the loving care of staff and Good Shepherd Hospice.

Born July 16, 1912 in Jasper to William Raiford Royal and Vinnie Sapp Royal; and has lived in Florida all her life. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church.

Polly was preceded in death by her husbands, J.W. Brown; Don Adkins; & George Benefiel; sisters, Kathy Stephens; Verdia Cowart Lowe; and Ruby Helm; brothers, William Royal; and Dennis Royal. Survivors include nieces, Charlotte Kent & Gerry Lowe both of Sebring, several other nieces, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, Monday, November 05, 2007 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. Interment will follow at Lake Wales Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice, 4418 Sun ‘N Lake Boulevard, Sebring, Florida 33872.
