Phyllis Marie Schade, 76

Phyllis Marie Schade of Winter Haven passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at her residence.

She was born February 9, 1947 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to the late John and Dorothy Baker; she moved to Winter Haven from Tennessee in 2011. Phyllis was a registered nurse and of the Christian faith. She was a lovely and selfless person who had a good heart who you could always count on for good advice. She crocheted beautiful afghans that were donated to Grace Healthcare.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her brothers, Elmer Johnson and Kenneth Johnson; and sister, Barbara Wamsley. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Charles Schade; sons, Rodney Schade and wife Caressa of Bartow, and Richard Schade of Florence, Alabama; sister-in-law, Anne Hunt of Ashville, New York; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Friday, September 15, 2023 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales.
