Phyllis Marie Moody of Lake Wales passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at her residence.
She was born November 3, 1935 in Gainesville, FL to the late Franklin Phillips & Tommie Bee Turner; and she came here from Valdosta, GA in 1974. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, James Burton Moody and a son, Jeffrey David Moody. Survivors include her daughter, Sandra Moody Sheffield; sons, James Burton Moody, Jr and John Michael Moody; sisters, Joan Bridges and Dot Mann; five grandchildren, Sean T. Moody, Lisa M. Moody, Jennifer L. Flanery and Kevin M. Sheffield, Cecelia Moody; and two great-grand children.
