Chemical Engineer

LAKE WALES--Phillip Robert Pritz of Lake Wales died Saturday, February 03, 2007 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale. He was 90.

Born May 27, 1916 in Rockford, Illinois; he moved here from New Jersey in 1965. He was a retired chemical engineer. He was a member of the Lake Wales Lutheran Church and a veteran World War II. He was a graduate of Rockford High School and the August Ana College in Rock Island, Illinois. He was also a life member of the VFW 2420.

Mr. Pritz was preceded in death by his first wife, Marion E. Pritz. Survivors include his wife, Fayoma Pritz of Lake Wales; daughter, Janet Elaine Pritz of High Springs; son, Phillip Jeffrey Pritz of Franklin, NC; and grandson, Phillip Michael Pritz of Greenville, SC.

Visitation will be held from noon until 1:00 PM, Thursday, February 08, 2007 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM, Thursday, February 08, 2007 at the Lakeside Memorial Park in Winter Haven with Dr. John Glamann officiating. For those who wish, donations can be made to the Good Shepherd Hospice, Cornerstone Hospice or American Heart Associatoin.
