PHILIP  JON  KU,  60

Philip Jon Ku of Frostproof passed away Sunday, March 28, 2021 at Advent Health Sebring.

He was born August 23, 1960 in Decorah, Iowa to the late David and Madean Ku; he came here from Hawaii 35 years ago. He was a retired foreman at Latt Maxcy and a member of First Assembly Church in Frostproof for 22 years. He served in the Army National Guard and loved to fish and hunt.

Philip was preceded in death by his sister, Karen Ku and brother, Daniel Ku. Survivors include his wife 41 years, Maybelle Ku; daughters, Misty McKenzie and husband, Damon of Babson Park and Christy Jeffries and husband, Ricky of Las Vegas, NV; son, H.C. McElroy and fiancée, Elizabeth Williamson of Frostproof; sister, Rachel Ku of Frostproof; brother, Michael Ku and wife, Shalom of Portland, OR; and eight grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 5, 2021 at Family Life Church in Frostproof with Rev. Kelly Galati and Howard Mathews officiating. Interment will follow at Silver Hill Cemetery.
