Phil Emerson

Phil Emerson of Lake Wales passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at the Consulate Health Care of Winter Haven.

He was born July 2, 1940 in Casey County, Kentucky to the late Cecil & Deva (Buis) Emerson; he came here 12 years ago from Kentucky. He was retired and was a member of the Church of Christ. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Linda Sue Emerson; daughter, Ronda Emerson Watt of Louisville, KY; son, Barry Emerson of Lebanon Junction, KY; brother, Gerald Emerson of Louisville, KY; 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and three dogs, Bandit, Midnight and Pepper.

No local services are scheduled at this time. Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Louisville, KY.
