Peter Ward O’Neil passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at his residence in Indian Lake Estates.

Born December 5, 1940 in New Port, RI; he came here from Vero Beach in 2002. He was a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church and a veteran of Viet Nam, serving in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the American Legion, V.F.W., Elks Club and Knights of Columbus.

Survivors include his wife, Joanne O'Neil of Indian Lake Estates; daughters, Shannon Tooley of Sierra Vista, AZ, Kelly Sullivan of New Jersey and Tiffany Kines of Rixeyville, VA; sons, Michael O'Neil of Maryland and Patrick O'Neil of Massena, NY; brother, Paul O'Neil of Middletown, RI; sisters, Ellen Siegler of Houston, TX, Kathy O'Neil of St. Augustine, FL and Maureen Jordan O'Neil of New Port, RI; and nine grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held 10:30 AM, Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home, Lake Wales.
