Peter Gamez of Frostproof passed away Monday, August 1, 2022 at his residence.

He was born June 28, 1976 in Houston, Texas. Peter worked for his father at a fruit stand.

Peter was preceded in death by his grandparents; and cousin, Victor Gamez. He is survived by his father, Geronimo Gamez; mother, Maria Lopez; sisters, Veronica Alvarado and husband Roel of Lehigh Acreas, Gabriela Soto and husband Eleazar of Immokalee, Iris Gamez and Jesse Cantu of Frostproof, Monica Shannon and husband Dustin of Dallas, Texas, and Jessica Gamez and Tony Record of Dallas, Texas; brothers, Geronimo Gamez, Jr. and wife Elizabeth of Frostproof, and Steven Gamez of Immokalee.

A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 7, 2022 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Frostproof. Interment will follow at Silver Hill Cemetery.
