Perry Wilson of Frostproof passed away Saturday, March 7, 2009 at the Heart of Florida Regional Medical Center in Haines City

He was born September 10, 1928 in Metter, GA to the late Paul & Lillie Bell (Lacy) Wilson; and he came here when he was 2 from Metter, GA. He was the retired owner/operator of the Frostproof Dry Cleaners, a member of the Church of God Faith, and a veteran, serving in the U.S. Army in Korea. In the 1960's he was a semi-pro baseball player. He was an avid Gator's fan and enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Harty M. Wilson; sons, Randy (wife-Joyce A.) Wilson of Frostproof, Ronnie (wife-Wendy P.) Wilson of Babson Park and Roger (wife-Debbie Tinsley) Wilson of Brevard, NC; sister, Lois Sheffield of Frostproof; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held 10:00 AM, Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Frostproof with Rev. Rex Daniels officiating. For those who wish, donations may be made to any charity of choice.
