Peggy F. Woods

Peggy “Nana” Woods of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Monday, February 23, 2015 at her residence.

She was born January 5, 1932 in Birmingham, Alabama to the late Charles E. and Gladys (Dodson) Fant. Peggy has been a resident of the area for 14 years coming from Palm City, Florida. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years Hugh E. Woods of Lake Wales, FL, children Linda Martin of Birmingham, AL, Michael Woods and wife Liz of Birmingham, AL, Gregory Wood and wife Chris of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Judy Herring and husband Robert of Clearwater, Fl, sisters Virginia Mayfield and husband Cleon of Birmingham, AL, Judy Douglas and husband Walter of Birmingham, AL, brother Steven Fant of Birmingham, AL., 19 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren with 3 more expected.

Memorial services will be held 1:00PM Saturday, February 28, 2015 at First Baptist church in Lake Wales with Rev. Barry Hooten officiating.
