Paul Maurice Taylor

Dr. Paul Maurice Taylor, 82, of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Saturday, November 28, 2015 at Good Shepherd Hospice.

He was born on July 7, 1933 in Earlington, Kentucky to the late Jesse and Fern (Peyton) Taylor and he has been a resident of this area since 2001 moving here from Kentucky. He was a retired physician. Paul started his career in medicine at Trover Clinic in Madisonville and was the former medical director of Hopkinsville, Trover Clinic in Hopkinsville, KY.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Tom Taylor and Ray Taylor.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Taylor; daughter, Tracie Taylor of Lake Wales; sons, Jeffrey Kent Krauss (Peggy) of Bozeman, MT, John Peyton Taylor of Louisville, KY, Paul M. Taylor, Jr. of Madisonville, KY and Jeff Steele of Dahlonega, GA; brother, Bill Taylor of CA; 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. until the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 5, 2015 at the Todd County Funeral Home in Elkton, Kentucky. Private graveside service to follow.
