Paul Newton Taggett, 97

Paul Newton Taggett of Lake Wales passed away Saturday, December 16, 2023 at Winter Haven Hospital.

He was born February 16, 1926 in Michigan to the late Vernon and Esther Taggett; he moved to Lake Wales from Baldwinsville, New York in 2016. Paul was a retired Chemical Engineer for G.E. and served with the United States Navy in World War 2. He enjoyed boxing and fishing. Paul was very independent and just recently stopped driving.

Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Taggett in 2018. He is survived by his daughter, Catherine Taggett (Ron Snyder) of Blaine, Washington; son, James Taggett of Lake Wales; and one grandchild.
