Paul Eugene Richardson, 98, of Lake Wales, passed away at his home Monday, August 07.
Born March 23, 1919 in Fort Myers, FL to the late Paul Eugene Richardson Sr. & Marina Eames (Harvey) Burnett, he moved to this area from Homestead, FL in 2001. He worked as an engineer in the U.S. Civil Service and for Eastern Airlines. He also served his country during World War II in the U.S. Navy. He loved gardening, fishing, reading and genealogy and was of the Protestant faith. He and his wife just celebrated 75 years of marriage on June 21st.
He is preceded in death by a great grandson, Kelly Richardson and his son in law Mike Austin.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Guthrie Richardson; daughters; Judith Lee Burr and her husband Charles of Palm Bay, FL, Marina Blystone and her husband Bob of Murphy, NC and Kelly Austin of Plant City, FL; son William Richardson of Morriston, FL; 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Friends may make contributions in his name to the Methodist Children’s Home in lieu of flowers.
