Paul R. Marowski of Lake Wales passed away Monday, December 22, 2008 at the Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale.

Born December 2, 1952 in Tampa to the late Leo A. and Stella Marowski; he came here from Brandon 15 years ago. He was a pipe fitter for Union 123 and was raised in the Nativity Catholic Church and School in Brandon. He enjoyed air boating and was a member of the Kissimmee Valley Airboat Association and Citrus County Airboat Alliance. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. In his younger years, he raced motorcycles and cars, enjoyed hang gliding, and was a certified S.C.U.B.A. cave diver.

Survivors include his daughter, Jamie Marowski of Lake Wales; brother, Richard A. Marowski of Brandon; and two grandchildren, James Grulke and Joey Grulke.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Friday, December 26, 2008 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. Graveside services will be held 1:00 PM, Saturday, December 27, 2008 at the Hillsborough Memorial Park in Brandon. In the spirit of Mr. Marowski’s giving nature, the family requests in lieu of flowers donations be given to the caring people at Good Shepherd Hospice, 105 Arneson Avenue, Auburndale, Florida 33823.
