Paul Otto Janson

Paul Otto Janson of Indian Lake Estates departed on his last voyage at 8:55am Monday, January 11, 2010 at HPH Hospice in Brooksville, FL. By now he will have reached safe harbor.

He was born September 26, 1921 in Newark, NJ to the late Otto Janson & Caroline Debold Janson. A world traveler, he came here to ILE 20 years ago. He was a veteran of World War II and retired as a decorated merchant seaman for the U.S. Merchant Marines.

Paul is survived by a family who loved him with all their hearts, his wife of 62 years Lucille Janson, sister Doris Gega, younger brother Richard Janson and a daughter, Kathleen Habdas. Predeceased by his son, Frederick P. Janson.

Interment will be held at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
