CAPE CORAL -- Mr. Paul L. Esser of Cape Coral died of heart failure Thursday (Feb. 2, 2006). He was 95.

Born March 16, 1910, in Chicago, Ill., Mr. Esser lived in Frostproof for 22 years before moving to Cape Coral. He served in the Army and fought in World War II. He worked as a brick mason. He was a Protestant.

Mr. Esser was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Alice Esser. He is survived by his son, Grant Esser, Cape Coral; sister, Lydia Coffman, Rockford, Ill.; and two grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Silver Hill Cemetery, Frostproof.
