Paul Dusenberry

Paul Dusenberry of Winter Haven, Florida passed away Saturday, April 14, 2012 at the Lake Wales Medical Center.

He was born November 4, 1939 in Peoria, IL; he previously resided in Buffalo, NY and came to Winter Haven, FL from Virginia Beach, VA in 2007. He graduated from Bradley University and was a member of Sigma Nu fraternity. He worked as an industrial engineer for Mobil Oil Company for 23 years and more recently, he served as the secretary for the Lake Ashton Men's Golf Association and helped organize many charity golf tournaments by soliciting sponsorship.

Paul was preceded in death by his father, Paul Robert Dusenberry Sr and his nephew, Nicolas Dusenberry. Survivors include his wife, Mary Jo Dusenberry; daughter, Paula Beth Higginbotham of Dayton, OH; sons, Scott Dusenberry of Scottsdale, AZ and Andrew Dusenberry of Ohio; step-daughters, Leslie Robinson of Nashville, TN and Lori LeFevre Steele of Windham, NH; mother, Virginia Christie of Peoria, IL; sisters, Patricia O'Connor of Huntley, IL and Cathy Covey of Morton, IL; brother, Brian Dusenberry of Snyder, NY; 2 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Lake Ashton.
