Patsy M Springfield

Patsy M. Springfield of Lake Wales passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at the Florida Hospital Orlando.

She was born August 7, 1957 in Ringgold, GA to the late Roy L. & Pauline Mannis; and came to the area as a child. She was a homemaker and former employee of Wal-Mart in Lake Wales for 10 years. She enjoyed reading and taking care of her family.

Patsy was preceded in death by her sister, Helen L. Mannis.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, James E. Springfield; daughters, Janice Messey and husband, Chris of Midland City, AL, Angela Smith and husband, Michael of Frostproof, Abby Gail Pauline Springfield of Lake Wales and Ashley Ann Folds and husband, Earl of Midland City, AL; sons, James Thomas Springfield and wife, Darty of Winter Haven, Kevin Michael Springfield of Lake Wales and John Springfield of Lake Wales; brothers, Paul E. Mannis of Dundee, Luther Mannis of Alexandria, VA, Jimmy Mannis of Lake Wales and Roy Lee Mannis of Lake Wales; 16 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until the funeral service at 2:00 pm Saturday, March 1, 2014 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Frostproof.
Burial will follow at the Silver Hill Cemetery.
