Patricia Louise Strider, 92

Patricia Louise Strider of Haines City, Florida passed away Monday, August 12, 2024 at Water’s Edge of Lake Wales.

She was born December 17, 1931 in Ray County, Missouri to the late Estel Moyer and Cleola McCollough. She married Kenneth Strider on December 8, 1951 and he preceded her in death in 2001. Patricia moved to Haines City from Richmond, Missouri in 2020. Patricia was a retired administrative assistant at the Ray County Farm Bureau Insurance. She was a member of Hardin Baptist Church and the Hardin Garden Club. Patricia was a 4-H Leader and was Co-President of the Missouri Winter Texans alongside her husband. She also loved gardening, camping, fishing, and traveling. When they retired, they wintered in Texas and Florida.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Strider in 2001. She is survived by her daughter, Pattie Smith and husband Dorris of Haines City, Florida; grandchildren; Ashley Taylor and husband Drew of Christiansburg, Virginia, and Lindsey Cronlund and husband Garret of Apopka, Florida; and great-grandchildren, Derek Taylor and Katie Taylor.

No local services are being held. Interment will be at Hardin Cemetery in Hardin, Missouri.
