Patricia Ann Smith

Patricia Hoag “Patty” Smith, 53 of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Thursday, February 18, 2016 at the Lake Wales Medical Center.

She was born on September 4, 1962 in San Gabriel, California to the late William and Sandra (Ream) Hoag; she has been a resident of this area for 32 years moving here from Michigan. She was a caregiver, a member of Impact Church and enjoyed family times.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Cynthia Hoag, and a brother, David Hoag. Survivors include her husband of 31 years, Donnie Smith; daughters, Sonja Lightsey (Clay) of Lake Wales and Sabrina Sprout (Glen) of Lake Wales; son, Josh Smith (Krystal) of Winter Haven; sister, Debra Morin of Adrian, MI; brother, Robert Hoag (Patty) of Brooklyn, MI; and six grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday, February 22, 2016 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at the Impact Church with Rev. Walter Nelson officiating. Interment will follow at the Auburndale Memorial Park.
