Patricia Marie “Pat” Powell of Frostproof passed away Thursday, November 20, 2008 at the Florida Hospital in Sebring.

Born April 13, 1939 in Bartow; she was a lifelong resident of the area. She was a homemaker and a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Frostproof.

Pat was preceded by her husband, Elton Ulis Powell. Survivors include her daughter, Karen Terrebonne of Frostproof and Denise Brown of Frostproof; son, Elton Wayne Powell of Ellsworth, SD; brother, Johnny Smith of Hinton, IA; and 7 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at the Emmanuel Baptist Fellowship with Rev. Shane Terrebonne officiating. Interment will follow at the Silver Hill Cemetery.
