Patricia M. "Pat" Turner

Patricia M. "Pat" Turner of Lake Wales passed away Thursday, March 18, 2010 at the Lake Wales Medical Center.

She was born April 27, 1936 in Ohio to the late Raymond & Eleanor Donahue; she came here 40 years ago from Ohio. She was a retired medical transcriptionist and has worked for Dr. Hardman, Dr. Braunstein, Dr. Agia & Dr. Mancini. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Lake Wales and was active in the Angel Food Ministry. She was also a member of the Lake Wales Garden Club and was a volunteer for Bok Tower, Lake Wales Care Center and the Lake Wales Medical Center. She enjoyed sewing, concerts and traveling.

Pat was preceded in death by her daughter, Phyllis Schroeder. Survivors include her daughters, Peggy Schroeder of Lake Wales and Pam Szymczyk and husband, Eddie, of Port St. Lucie; and 4 grandchildren, Shawn Schroeder, Trisha Szymczyk, Dustin Szymczyk & Joshua Szymczyk.

Memorial service will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 27, 2010 at the First United Methodist Church in Lake Wales with Rev. Jeffrey Kantz officiating.
