Patricia A. "Pat" Knowles

Patricia A. "Pat" Knowles of Lake Wales passed away Monday, December 19, 2011 at her residence.

She was born April 10, 1936 in Wilmington, DE to the late Bruce Emil Gideon Sailer & Frances Davis Sailer; and she moved here from Felton, DE in 2004. She was a retired payroll specialist for the Delaware Tech & Community College; she was a member of the Bible Fellowship Church in Camden, DE and attended Cypress Ridge Presbyterian Church in Winter Haven, FL. She was very creative in making unique decorative displays, including floral arrangements and Father Christmases.

Survivors include her husband of almost 58 years, Evan M. Knowles; daughters, Deborah (Dennis) Childress of Lake Wales and Barbara (Brian) Dallman of Lake Wales; four grandchildren, Christopher (Katrina) Childress, Lauren (Roy III) Wilkinson, Ashley (Clint) Tolson and Joshua (Cassandra) Childress; and six great-grandchildren, Tyler, Bo, Caleb, Abby, Ella and Kaylin.

Memorial service will be held 3:00 pm Thursday, January 5, 2012 at Cypress Ridge Presbyterian Church in Winter Haven with Rev. Cory Kloth officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any charity of choice.
