Patricia Jane Kern, 78

Patricia Jane Kern of Frostproof passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at Advent Health Heart of Florida.

She was born August 9, 1942 in Norfolk, Virginia to the late Lillian Jane Turpin. Patricia was a homemaker and attended Lighthouse of Hope Church. She loved animals.

Patricia was preceded in death by her son, Curtis Wayne Kern; and daughter, Melissa Colmenares in 1999. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, John C. Kern; daughters, Theresa Hernandez of Frostproof, Kimberly Smith of Spokan, Washington, and Pamela Jane Kern of Arizona; 11 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 11:15 a.m., Monday, May 17, 2021 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Frostproof with Pastor Danny Turpin and Havier Figueroa officiating. Interment will follow at Silver Hill Cemetery.
