Patricia Lynn Wilkinson Connell

Pat Connell of Frostproof passed away Friday, June 30, 2017 at her residence. She was born March 2, 1947 in Aurora, IL to the late Vern and Marjorie Wilkinson; and has been a local resident for 30 years. She was a homemaker. Pat was preceded in death by her sisters, Joan McClendon and Jeannie Cruz; and a brother, Tommy Waugh. Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Dennis Connell; daughter, Deanna Gandy (Donald) of Babson Park; sons, Paul Wilson (Jessica Barrera) of Zephyrhills, Travis Connell (Lori McKenzie) of Lake Wales and Trevor Connell (Heather) of Winter Haven; sisters, Rita Reader of IL and Peggy McClain of NC; ten grandchildren, Amber Gandy, Jonathan Gandy (Valerie), Savannah Gandy, Samantha Wilson, Dustin Wilson, Avery Wilson, Penelope Wilson, Jacob Connell, Nolan Connell and January Riggins; and two great-grandchildren, Emma Riggins and Maxx Murrell. Memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 7, 2017 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales with Thelma Gandy officiating.
