Patricia J Armold

Patricia J. “Pat” Armold of Frostproof passed away Saturday, April 4, 2015 at her residence.

She was born March 29, 1936 in St. Augustine to the late Charles & Ruby Rouse; and she came here from Land-O-Lakes in 2003. She retired after 46 years at SCL-CSX Railroad. She enjoyed fishing, vegetable and flower gardening, Nascar and was a New Orleans Saints fan.

Pat was preceded in death by her grandson, Ian. Survivors include her husband of 51 years, John Armold; daughter, Tammy Mayfield and husband, Kurt of Dunedin; son, Charles Armold of Plant City; sisters, Rachel Rouse of Jacksonville, Carol Howell of North Carolina, Sue Gaskin of North Carolina and Sherry Eastwood of Greenwood, SC; brothers, Ronald Rouse of Brandon and Richard Rouse of Lakeland; and five grandchildren, Matthew, Shiloh, Curt, Sunney and Summer and one great-grandchild on the way.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until the funeral service at 2:00 pm Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Frostproof with Chaplain Sam Ramirez officiating. Interment will follow at the Silver Hill Cemetery.
