Owen Sheerly Pilgrim

Mr. Owen S. Pilgrim, age 97, passed away in Haines City, FL on Monday, December 17, 2012.

Owen was born on October 15th, 1915 in Delaware Township, Iowa; he had eight brothers and sisters. He moved to Swiss Village in Winter Haven in 1995, he was a former resident of Delhi, New York and Belleville, Wisconsin where he worked in Dairy Manufacturing. He was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Haines City and a past member of the Masons, Kiwanis and the Boy Scouts of America, former Mayor Belleville, Wisconsin

He is survived by his wife of 73 years, Mary Pilgrim; and their five children, Betty Tucker (John), Gerry Pilgrim, Dianne Digilio (John), Donald Pilgrim (Jeannie) and Allan Pilgrim; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, one sister, two brothers and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at the First Presbyterian Church in Haines City.
