Oscar A Prieto-Carrasquillo

Oscar A. Prieto-Carrasquillo, 62 of Lake Wales passed away Thursday, October 8, 2015 at Somers Hospice House.

He was born on November 24, 1952 in Hatorey, Puerto Rico to Oscar and Norma Carrasquillo Prieto and he has been a resident of this area since 2003 moving here from Tennessee. He was a Gunny Sergeant for the US Army. Oscar was a member of the VFW and the Lake Wales Moose Lodge, he served in the US Army for 21 years having served 2 tours of duty in Iraq.

He is survived by his wife, Eileen Ingersoll Prieto; daughters, Sheila M. Prieto of Connecticut, Mia Alex-Prieto and husband Oswald of South Florida; sons, Oscar J. Prieto of Arizona, Jose Rafael Prieto and wife Cosauer of Germany; mother, Norma C. Prieto; sister, Norma L. Prieto and husband Eddie Negron of Lake Shore; 5 grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, October 24, 2015 at the VFW in Lake Wales.
