Oralia Lara, 72, of Frostproof passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at the Florida Hospital Heartland Medical Center in Sebring.

Born January 28, 1936 in Allende, Coah, Mexico; she came here from Decatur, TX in 1971. She was a homemaker and a Christian. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother and worked with her husband, Pedro, in the citrus industry.

Survivors include her husband, Pedro Lara Sr. of Frostproof; mother, Cruz Castillo de Buentello of Eagle Pass, TX; daughters, Maria DeLara of Frostproof; Juana Rivas of LaBelle; Blanca Leticia Garza of Winter Haven; Julia Rivas of San Antonio, TX; Yolanda Mendoza of LaBelle; son, Pedro Lara Jr of Lake Wales; sisters, Teresa Ballesteros of Frostproof; Irma Rodriguez of Eagle Pass, TX; Alicia Robles of Monterrey N.L., Mexico; 21 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until service time at 7:00 PM, Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home, Frostproof.
