Oradee Jones Acree

Oradee J. Acree, 101, of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Sunday, December 6, 2015 at Water’s Edge.

She was born on October 30, 1914 in Ft. Meade, Florida to the late Cleveland V. and Lela Mae (Rhoden) Jones and she has been a lifelong resident of this area. She was a retired Citrus Worker and Cattle Rancher. She was a member of the Westside Baptist church and the last charter member of the Church, she was a member of the Eastern Star. Oradee enjoyed sewing and fishing. She was the matriarchs of a large extended family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mack Acree; son, Eugene “Gene” Franklin Acree and Donald Mack Acree.
Survivors include her son, William “Billy “ Acree of Lake Wales; 7 grandchildren, Cleve, Kim, Laurie, Darlene, Christie, Frank and Rick; 9 great grandchildren and 3 Great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, December 11, 2015 at the Westside Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Bolden officiating. Interment will be held at the Lake Wales Cemetery.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
