Ora Lavina Royster

September 28, 1917 — February 23, 2011

Ora Lavina Royster of Babson Park passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at the Life Care Center of Winter Haven.

She was born September 28, 1917 in Boaz, AL to the late George & Minnie (McKay) Moon; and she came to Babson Park from High Springs in 1999. She was a homemaker and a member of the South Lake Wales Church of God.

Ora was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Royster in 1998. Survivors include her two daughters, Thelma Melendy of Ocala and Sandra G. Campbell of Babson Park; three sons, Howard Eugene Royster of Wauchula, Kenneth E. Royster of Anchorage, AK and Morris Roy Royster of Dunlap, TN; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. Sunday, February 27, 2011 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. The funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 28, 2011 at the South Lake Wales Church of God. Interment will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
